   KnowHow: Forms: Instruction

Forms
In this part you will not find already prepared forms. This happens on purpose. It would be a shame if all studies have the same instruction page, and we do not want to interfere with your creativity. This is the reason why you will only find a kind of list that gives you ideas about what should not be missing in an instruction. We provide you with a checklist that allows you to tick every box after you included that part in your own instruction. But please bear in mind do not write whole novels! Your instruction should give a short and quick overview. You do not need to describe every detail of your online study - it just would be too confusing

Elements for the instruction as checklist

Name of the project manager, contact as well as email address
Clear and catching study title
Statements about the purpose of the study
Expected time needed to participate in the study
Notice whether participants will receive feedback (e.g. summary of study results)
Notice about maintaining data protection and anonymity
Responsible institute of this study (e.g. research institute, university)
Period of time within participation is possible (e.g. study is online until ...)
Possible: explain technical requirement (e.g. Java, video)
Possibility to work online and/or offline
